Public transportation is a necessity! A strong public transport infrastructure will reduce US dependency on foreign oil, reduce pollution, slow suburban sprawl, and improve the overall quality of life.
• $2.00 PER GALLON GASOLINE TAX INCREASE
The taxes currently collected on gasoline come nowhere near paying the true cost of its use! Road construction and repair, police patrol, and environmental cleanup all should be paid by the users of the oil.  The increased tax will also reduce usage of oil, promoting use of public transportation and reducing the cost of our military presence in the Middle East, which is necessary to ensure the delivery of the crude oil itself!
• SINGLE-PAYER NATIONALIZED MEDICAL CARE
It is absurd that someone's medical care be determined by what job he or she happens to have!  Nationalized coverage for all non-elective medical care is the only way to guarantee coverage to everyone who needs it and to control insurance costs!
• MASSIVE SIMPLIFICATION OF FEDERAL TAX CODE
Anyone who has ever filled out form 1040 knows it's ridiculous. Implementation of a progressive, simple percentage for all people who earn over the poverty level, and for all for-profit businesses, would save billions in tax code enforcement costs and would ensure that all pay their fair share.
• AUTOMATIC RECOGNITION OF UNIQUE 20th CENTURY POPULAR CULTURE ICONS AS NATIONAL HISTORIC LANDMARKS
Here in Eastern Massachusetts alone, we already lost the Willow Pond Kitchen, the Ratskeller in Kenmore Square, Whalom Park, and Wal-Lex.  These travesties must be stopped! Cultural icons must be preserved!
• CONSTITUTIONAL RIGHT TO PRIVACY FOR ALL U.S. CITIZENS
We all have the right to be left alone!  Your financial records, medical histories, and personal information are private and are your property, and should not be sold or divulged by anyone else.  Additionally, spam and telephone soliciations should be banned.
